A Place to Grow, Play, and Learn About Jesus
From the very first days of life through 5th grade, Trinity’s Children’s Ministry is designed to meet your child exactly where they are. Whether you have a newborn in your arms or a 5th grader who thinks they’re almost too old for this — there’s a place here for your family, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
We believe the faith foundations built in childhood last a lifetime, and everything we do is shaped around that conviction. Your child will be loved, engaged, and pointed toward Jesus every time they walk through our doors.
Your Child’s Safety Comes First
We take the safety of every child seriously. On Sunday mornings, all of our children are housed together on the same hall, with a member of our security team stationed at each end. Every volunteer who works with children goes through a background check. You can drop your child off knowing they are in a safe, supervised environment with people who have been carefully vetted.
Sunday Morning
Sunday School · 10:00 AM
Sunday School is where your child will build friendships, explore the Bible, and start asking the big questions of faith in a classroom designed just for their age group. Children are divided into three classes:
- Nursery — Ages 3 and under. A warm, nurturing environment where your youngest is cared for and introduced to the love of Jesus through age-appropriate activities.
- Pre-K and Kindergarten. Active, hands-on learning in a class built for little learners who are just beginning to understand the stories of the Bible.
- Elementary Class — 1st through 5th grade. Deeper Bible study, discussion, and growing faith in a class that meets kids where they are academically and spiritually.
During the Worship Service · 11:00 AM
Children in the nursery remain in their room with their caregivers through the full worship service. All other children begin the service seated with their families. At a designated point in the service, children in Pre-K through 1st grade are dismissed to Children’s Church — their own age-appropriate worship experience featuring songs, games, and a special message just for them.
Children in 2nd through 5th grade remain in the main service with their families for the full worship hour.
Wednesday Nights · 6:15 PM
Wednesday night is one of the most fun times of the week for our kids. The evening is split into two back-to-back experiences:
Music & Drama · 45 minutes — Kids dive into our music and drama program, where they rehearse songs, skits, and performances. Most of the year, they’re working toward our annual Spring or Christmas production — a highlight on the Trinity calendar that the whole church looks forward to.
Regular Class · 30 minutes — Games, crafts, and creative ways of learning more about Jesus. It’s energetic, it’s joyful, and kids genuinely look forward to it every week.
Events Throughout the Year
Our children’s ministry calendar is full of moments your family won’t want to miss. Throughout the year we host:
- Fairytale Ball — A magical, dress-up celebration for our youngest
- Easter Egg Hunt — A fun-filled community event welcoming families from across the area
- Nursing Home Visits — Teaching children the joy of serving others by visiting and encouraging local nursing home residents
- Back to School Party — A send-off celebration to kick off the new school year with energy and encouragement
- Fall Festival — Family-friendly autumn fun for the whole church community
- Vacation Bible School (VBS) — One of our biggest events of the year. A full week of Bible stories, crafts, games, music, and friendships. VBS is the best way for new families to experience our children’s ministry at its most vibrant!
